Back homeThis policy explains how Lunexa Elder Care handles sensitive family care information. The short version: the app starts local-first, sensitive content is encrypted, account and cloud backup features are optional, and exported or shared copies leave Lunexa's control.
Lunexa Elder Care is a family caregiving app for organizing elder profiles, medicines, appointments, medical records, emergency details, wellness routines, home safety, insurance, and family coordination. It is not a medical provider, emergency response service, insurer, or professional advice service.
The app is designed to work offline first. Sensitive care information is stored on your device in an encrypted local database and app-private encrypted file storage. Your first vault starts private on the device unless you choose an account, backup, export, or sharing path.
If you create an account or use encrypted cloud backup, Lunexa uses Supabase Auth, Supabase Edge Functions, and backend metadata tables to manage account, entitlement, quota, upload, restore, and session state. Backup objects are encrypted before upload and stored as ciphertext in S3. Supabase metadata should not contain medicine names, diagnoses, record titles, elder names, notes, or original attachment filenames.
Premium and Family Plus purchases are handled through the mobile app stores and RevenueCat. Lunexa may receive purchase, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, and account-linking data needed to unlock paid features and provide support. Store payment details are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat rather than by Lunexa directly.
The emergency card is intentionally available without normal vault unlock so urgent helpers can see details the user marked safe for emergency use, such as contacts, allergies, conditions, preferred hospital, and emergency notes. Review this information carefully before enabling or sharing it.
The app can create local exports, emergency PDFs, and device share-sheet handoffs. Once you export or share information outside Lunexa, the receiving app, person, or storage location controls that copy.
Lunexa is designed not to send analytics events containing medicine names, diagnoses, file names, elder identifiers, or other sensitive care content. Runtime logs and diagnostics should avoid sensitive care details and may be used to troubleshoot errors when enabled by configuration or support flows.
You can delete local app data by removing vault content or uninstalling the app from your device. Account-backed cloud data can be deleted through in-app account controls when available or by contacting support. You can also export records where the app provides export tools.
Depending on the feature you use, Lunexa may rely on Supabase for authentication and cloud control-plane services, AWS S3 for encrypted backup object storage, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, Apple and Google for app distribution and payments, and email providers for support.

You can delete your account and cloud data from inside the app. See for steps.
